School Council
Argyle Primary School Council gives pupils a perfect opportunity to express their opinions in a safe forum, within a mixed age-group setting.
The members are representatives from each of the classes in Key stage1 and 2. Each class elects school council representatives during the Autumn Term each academic year. Every class has two representatives who are selected for their qualities and proposed improvements to the school that they present in their manifesto at the beginning of the year.
The School Council meets weekly to discuss issues that affect the pupils and the life of the school. In the past few years we have helped to organise fund-raising event, consulted on in-school safety for Camden L.E.A., improved our dinner menu, monitored our food waste, made improvements to our school grounds and taken part in a number of Camden School Council Debates.
