Wrap Around School

Breakfast Club

At Argyle we are part of the government’s National School Breakfast Programme (NSBP). National Schools Breakfast Programme is funded by the Department for Education and run by Family Action to support schools in England to provide children with a healthy breakfast at the start of the school day. Family Action is committed to supporting child development, and believe a healthy school breakfast, without barrier or stigma, can set up children to succeed and give them the very best chance to learn. Evidence has shown that pupils benefit from having a healthy, nutritious breakfast each morning to enabe them to access learning.

As members of NSBP we are able to offer:

  •  A free breakfast each day to all disadvantaged pupils.
  •  To access this, children can attend our morning breakfast club which runs daily from 8:00 to 8:45am.
  • All children from Nursery to Year 6 are offered bagels in the morning in their classroom. Children are able to help themselves to a piece of bagel if they would like it.
